The first picture is the view of the outside of a unit (which I believe is almost identical to each unit). You can see that you don’t share any walls with your neighbors which meant great privacy! The first level (ground level with the parking spot) is really a small cemented area, which houses the washer and dryer. Walking up the outdoor staircase, you come to a huge deck that encircles your unit and the other three units that are "connected" by this large deck (great for sunbathing).

On this level there is a very large dining room, a kitchen, a "sitting" area and a very large screened in deck. The second picture shows part of the dining area. I believe the table could easily hold 8 or more people! My sister-in-law did almost all of the cooking so we had great dinners while on vacation. The kitchen has a window that opens onto screened in deck. This window was used to pass out food from the kitchen to the dining area on the deck! The third picture shows my sister-in-law, in the kitchen, passing out food to my sister who is on the deck.

Walking up the interior spiral staircase, you come to the next level of the condo. This level had the living room (with a large TV), another dining area with a wet bar, a master bedroom with its private bathroom, a second bedroom, and a second bathroom. My sister and I shared the second bedroom which had two beds, a dresser, a TV, and a large closet. This room was a little smaller than I am used to but certainly better than a hotel room! (I normally would be in the master suite but in this case, I wanted my brother and sister-in-law to have that room).

We swam in the outdoor pool every day. It was large, deep for water jogging, and heated! While not in the pool, we would sun ourselves. We also used the Jacuzzi most days and of course we spent some time on the ocean beach, using the hammocks that were on the property. The beach itself was small but I loved being right on the ocean. The fourth picture shows one view of the beach.

You can see in our pictures some of the funky colors that are so Key West! Adding to the good atmosphere was the outdoor informal setting, the umbrellas (both over our heads and in the drinks!), the music, the breeze, and of course the ocean view. We were only staying in Key West for one dinner and we made the most of it.

Our dinner stay could be broken into four segments. The first was unwinding (after our hectic day of sightseeing) with several frozen drinks. I lived dangerously by mixing drinks (my brother was designated driver) in order to sample their menu of specialty drinks. I wanted to stay in that stage but alas, we did come there for dining.

Part two was our dinner. We ordered different items and all four of us were happy with our selections. Since I consumed a great deal of calories in my liquid portion of dinner, I ordered a green salad. Instead of my normal choice of adding chicken to the salad, I ordered grilled mahi mahi to be added to the salad. This was very different and very tasty. I conveniently forgot all about calories when I indulged in their delicious key lime pie!

Part three was another drink (or two) while sitting at the rail overlooking the water. We did hope to see a sunset but the clouds prevented that. However, we had a wonderful time looking at all of the beautiful sleek yachts and party boats that passed us!

Part four was listening to the band. The band played the rock music I like – oldies for us old baby boomers! While we were there no one danced but I had a feeling that before the night was over, the band probably had the crowd up on their feet.

My only disappointment in this restaurant is that my family wouldn’t let me stay! We had to hit the road and return to our condo in Marathon.
