This is located among the many Keys, or chain islands, off the coast of Florida. I traveled down to Key West looking for a getaway, and what I found was a paradise not to far off the beaten path that would indulge a wide variety of interests, from the arts to shopping to a nightlife one can only describe as synergistic. After spending 10 days in Key West, I never wanted to come back.Quick Tips: Bring a big appetite, thirst for good drinks and endless hours of fun, and some of the most enchantingly gorgeous ocean views the East Coast has to offer. Every dining experience was a treat from, the Hard Rock Cafe to Sloppy Joe's Cafe to Margaritaville, a famed establishment from the Jimmy ...Read More

Upon the moment of arrival, the staff never stopped making sure our stay was a great one. The rooms were comfortable and well accommodating. Located near the airport transportation to and from the island, it was convenient. Plus. the luxurious pool centered in the middle of the hotel was awesome. My friends and I spent many many days of our vacation lounging about the pool in between excursions to town and the other Keys.

Okay, I've gotta confess, gourmet cuisine is wasted on me. But I can say one thing that isn't wasted is a fine steak and great burger! I mean, you might say I am a burger connoisseur!! Go on, you can say it, because predominantly all I eat are hamburgers. And along with the fantastic food and drink that Key West has to offer, I have to say the Hard Rock had bar none the best burger I've ever had.Not only was it the best, but the wait staff was soo polite, funny, and engaging, maybe a lil' too engaging from my girlfriend's point of view, but I enjoyed it nonetheless. I mean, they create this awesome hypermasculine, Hemingway-ish decor, and I felt as though I was on the Key in times gone past....Read More

This is probably the most difficult review I can type of vacation, only due to the utter fogginess of the memories I made at this fabulous place. First off the have every flavor of tropical libation you could imagine plus I not only tried most of them much to my shagrin, but they had soo many flavor combinations I never got founded upon one. From the Grain Train to Chocohol, their frozen drinks were AWESOME. The bar is set in the heart of Duval Street, and for those not in the know, its like a Tropical bourbon street with gorgeous women walking by every moment. Did I say Bourbon Street, no New Orleans never offered scenery like this. Highlighted by the city street lights and filled with the sounds ...Read More

Okay, I know state historic sites are what you pass on the way to where you're going, but if you're in Key West and want to stay island side and not venture out to the Dry Tortugas, which I also highly recommend, this is the place to go. Also, what most people don't realize is that most of the beaches pictured in publicity photos of Key West are from Fort Zachary Taylor. Most of the island of Key West is surrounded by a sea wall. Basically, you walk over to what seems to be a cliff of brick falling right into the ocean. Now, the wall is only 3 feet tall and eclipses nicely into most of the bay views. But if you're looking for that ideal mental picture of relaxation and somewhere breezy to hang a ...Read More
