This was a full week's trip to Vegas for our fifth anniversary.

Harrahs Las Vegas

It was clean, simple, and comfortable. Since it was a budget room, the view wasn't great, but we knew we wouldn't be in the room much. If you tip the cleaning lady like $2 a day, they will clean it even better than normal. For instance, the hotel wants to conserve on water, so they ask you to reuse towels, but if you tip, they give you clean towels.

Just Beautiful & Relaxing

Bellagio Fountains

These are some pictures of the water show during some night shows. This is just beautiful, especially with the music playing along. Pictures just can't do it justice. This is a must-see if you are ever in Las Vegas, even with children.

Overview of Vegas

Experience

Bridge in Paris
When we first started planning this trip, I was a little skeptical because of the whole Sin City thing, but once we started seeing all of the different shows that don't have naked women or men, I started to get excited. Just the sightseeing seemed to be really good. Once we got there, it was great. Yes, there will always be people all along the street trying to hand you cards--just don't put your hand out for it and you won't have to deal with it. That is the only litter on the Strip. The hotel and casinos keep their own sidewalks very clean. I can't wait to go back. You get to see a little bit of everything here. The themes of each hotel are so amazing. The architecture is just breathtaking. I know you've heard this before, but it really is beautiful. Just go see it for yourself. The room rates are really low right after New Year's. Just go to the individual hotel websites for the best deals.
