Had a great Thanksgiving week with the family. Lots of things for all ages --- NASCAR, shows, fishing, swimming, etc.

Quick Tips:

Stop at welcome center for coupon books. Guest relations at resorts will also help with discount coupons for shows, dinners, and other activities.

Best Way To Get Around:

I would highly recommend having a car. Easy to get around town.

Best Things Nearby:
Outlet shopping, shows, activities for teens (NASCAR, miniature golf, etc.).

Best Things About the Resort:
A little off the beaten path. Quiet. Friendly, helpful staff.

Resort Experience:
Had 2 2-bedroom units. Each had roomy living/dining area. Patio off living room area facing small woods with golf course on other side. Full bathroom downstairs and fair sized kitchen. Good equipment/dishes/pots and pans in kitchen. Large closet downstairs for storage/coats. Upstairs had 2 bedrooms. Large Master bedroom with queen size bed and full bath. There was a deck off of the master bedroom. The second bedroom had twin beds and a full bath. Both were nicely furnished. The washer and dryer were behind bifold doors in the upstairs hall. This was most convenient. There is a small outside storage for each unit. Units well soundproofed. We were not bothered by neighbors walking up and down stairs, etc.

Great food and view of the man made lake at Broadway at the Beach. Enjoyed being able to have a variety of barbeque sauce on the ribs.

Attraction

A day can easily be spent at the Park due to the variety of activities. The grandkids did not get bored. We did not have to drive to several venues for them to have a great day.

Feeding the fish
Great! Not only some great shops - it is a great place for children. Lots of things to do. My grandchildren loved feeding the ducks and fish. It was at Christmas season, so the decorations were in place. The children loved each and every one. Miniature Golf is available for the older children to enjoy while Mom and Grandma shop. The younger children enjoyed the aquarium with their Dads. There were great shops with many items for Christmas gifts. Enjoyed finding unusual items. Granddaughters loved Build A Bear. Fountains are placed throughout the area and are beautiful. There were singers singing Christmas carols. Lots of excellent places to eat.

Tanger OutletBest of IgoUgo

Attraction

Lots of name brand outlets with reasonable prices. I liked the variety of stores. A good selection of snack vendors to choose from when hungry and tired from all the bargain shopping. Places provided for the non shoppers to sit and watch the crowds go by.

We went the week of Thanksgiving with 2 of our daughters and their families. We had grandchildren there from 2 to 13. There were activities for all ages. It was just great to have a family getaway and have the time to enjoy each other. Myrtle Beach is a great place to do that due to the wide variety of activities.
