The City That Never Sleeps

An April 2002 trip to New York by travel06

Quote: When I was a senior in high school, I got the chance to go to New York City and took it!
When we first got to the Vanderbilt YMCA, I wasn't sure if it would be a good place to stay, but after a few nights there, it really was a nice place to stay. The only thing I didn't like is that the rooms didn't have bathrooms, so you had to go down the hall just to go to the bathroom, and the rooms also didn't have phones, so that was a little inconvenient. The best part was that since I'm in a wheelchair, I got a room with a normal bed, not a bunk bed, and the room was bigger, so that was nice. Overall, I thought this was a good place to stay if you just wanted a place to sleep, which is all we did there.
