The Walt Disney World area is a fantastic place to visit with children, though not always cheap. There are so many different hotel options here; everyone should be able to find something. We have stayed on Disney property and off, and both have their advantages. Being that I have little children, I prefer to stay at a hotel that provides at least a refrigerator in the room, though a microwave is also nice.
Quick Tips:
If you are going the parks, I highly recommend packing snacks and drinks as they are quite expensive in the parks. Also, with any children under 4, I would think a stroller is the way to go. The stroller also provides a place to store your backpack and whatever else you bring with you.Best Way To Get Around:
Parking at the Magic Kingdom is by far the hardest. First, you have to park, then take the tram, then walk to either the boat or monorail, and then walk into the park. Entering all of the other parks is much simpler. Disney buses are a nice touch, but it will take four times as long to get to where you are going.
