Beach, shopping, dining

Best Things About the Resort:
Nice-size room, great pools

Resort Experience:
Yes, you can walk to the beach, but no, it's not super-convenient. You wouldn't want to run back to your room for a bathroom break--let's put it that way. But it IS walking distance to a beautiful beach, and if you prefer the pool you will love the many swimming pools on site. Also on site is a great little convenience store. You will be at the far end of the "strip," and we would have preferred to be in the middle, but if you like to walk you can make it to the other end pretty easily. Lots of shopping and dining options nearby. Our room was just the right size for my husband and me, along with my dad, who slept on the pull-out sofa (though he said it was really hard). Our room was booked by a relative, so we don't know who they used to book it, but our room was dirty when we arrived, and the sheets on the bed looked like they had been recently slept on. Yuck! We prefer a "hotel" to a "timeshare," so you can call the front desk when this kind of problem arises. Overall, it was a nice few days in Eilat.
