They have cute little cabins as well as rooms. The cabins have a more rustic feel and are good for a small family or a couple trying to get away. The rooms are nice and cozy and have been redone. The owners have exceeded in redoing it and making it better. The owners are friendly and try to help you as much as possible. They will suggest things and places and in general are very helpful. It's a small, cozy place for a weekend visit.

This is a very nice hotel. They have spa rooms where there is a Jacuzzi and sauna in the room. They also have rooms without those. It is set behind a restaurant on a hill and is in a nice, secluded area. They have a heated pool and friendly staff. There is a continental breaksfast every morning, complementary newspapers, wireless access, and a computer in the lobby, just in case you need to get on the Internet. We stayed in the King Spa room with the Jacuzzi and sauna. The room was beyond what we expected. It was nicely set up. It is on the more expensive side, but it is worth it.

Carmody's Irish Pub Best of IgoUgo

Restaurant | "Carmody's"

Quote:
Carmody's is an Irish pub. It has an enclosed bar and booths. The service is good and the food is even better. They are prompt and attentive. The food came out fast and hot. It was a great atmosphere and is a place you can go to just get together with friends, hang out, and grab a snack.

Sonny's Blue Benn Diner Best of IgoUgo

Restaurant | "Blue Benn Diner"

Quote:
The Blue Benn is such a staple in Bennington. It is famous for its fabulous breakfast foods. There tends to be a line out the door on weekends, but it is worth it. Is is an old-fashioned-looking diner with great food. They have booths lining one wall and a bar with seating as well. The food is great. Everytime I go home, I make sure that I stop in and eat there. The staff is friendly and helpful. Their menu is on the wall, as well as in a menu. They have the little jukeboxes at all the tables where you can put in a quarter and get two selections. It is definitely a great experience that I love. You can go in and have a great time eating and talking with your friends.
