Stroll along the streets of Boston and take in the history, architecture, and shopping!

Boston

Overview

See a show at The Huntington Theatre Company, go shopping at Prudential, and see the Christian Science Church.

Quick Tips:

For yummy ice cream, check out Newbury Street.

Best Way To Get Around:

Take the T--make sure you have a map to know which color to get on. The green line will take you around Back Bay, and the red line will take you to the theater district. There is also the orange line.

Copley Hotel

Beautiful and elegant, it is right next to Copley Mall (full of expensive stores, like Gucci, Coach, and Dior) and the Prudential Center (with less expensive shops) and right around the corner from famous Newbury Street.

Fire + Ice

They have everything! The atmosphere is funky and hip. They have stations with meat, veggies, fish, salad, pastas, and dressings, and you bring it to the cooks, who work in the center on a round stove. You can personally request things and WATCH them cook it! It is very fun.

Activity

Newbury Street

A long street full of small expensive boutiques, as well as French Connection and Steve Madden and cheap second-hand CD stores, artsy places, and lots of cafes. It is a fun place.

Huntington Theater Company

This is an amazing quality theater, one of the best in the country that puts on musicals and dramas. I saw a great production of "The Real Thing." I suggest seeing a play there after spending the day shopping!

Boston Shop!

Experience

There is great shopping and awesome restaurants. Also, check out American Rep, which is Harvard's resident theater, I believe. Check out Harvard Square while you're there.
