My favorite things to do while in Zurich were eat and walk the Bahnhofstrasse, which is a street well known for it's shopping. I would definitely suggest stopping at the main Sprungli shop at Paradaplatz to experience the best chocolate on this planet! And if you're visiting during the winter months, definitely try Sprungli's Luxemburgerli. They're "small bundles of love" that will melt in your mouth! Also walk down to Lake Zurich at the end of the Bahnhoffstrasse for a breathtaking view and a chance to feed the swans.

Best Way To Get Around:

I was surprised to find out that we could get just about anywhere in the city by foot.

The hotel has 65 guestrooms which all have been recently renovated. All the rooms have a full bath and shower, radio, self-dial phone, writing desk and TV. Very modern. And, our room had a spectacular view of the Old Town!
