Camp Hatteras

A May 2005 trip to Outer Banks by rogerramjet442

Quote: Camp Hatteras, on the Outer Banks of North Carolina, is a first-class campground. There's plenty to do in this area, like great fishing. There are lots of historical sites, a Manteo sailing ship, and historical sites. There is also an aquarium, and Manteo is where retired sheriff Andy Taylor resides.

You can drive on the beach and take a lunch speed for as much time as you choose to enjoy the sand and surf. Fish surf or just relax; there are some occassional nudists on Manteo, but it is rare now, since it has become so popular. Who knows?
