30th Anniversary Treat

A September 2004 trip to Las Vegas by Ipaftrainer

Quote: This was the first week of a three week trip to North America. (See also Lake Tahoe). The main attraction for us being the Strip, Grand Canyon, Hoover Dam and The Cirque De Soleil. We Had a great time, but to do justice to all of the above we would suggest a minimum of two weeks holiday.

The apartment was excellent, very comfortable, TV in lounge and bedroom, full kitchen, great. The downside is its location, it does not have a bar or restaurant, and there is only one bar nearby within walking distance, the bar however is very friendly with excellent steaks and burgers, and if you play the machines which are set in the bar, the drinks are free.

Across the road is a shopping mall for food and drinks, when it's finished, it will probably be very good. A car is a must, the resort does have a courtesy coach to the Strip, but you are limited by the times it runs and they only have coach with approximately 15 seats.
