Isla Mujeres is a quiet island just off the coast of Cancun. It is very accessible and very "Mexico". The seafood is awesome and all of the food on the island is very fresh. The transfer from the airport to the ferry went very smooth. We stayed a couple of days on the island, then took the ferry back to the mainland and caught a bus to Playa del Carmen for a couple of days. While there, we took a bus to Tulum for a day. Then from PDC we got a bus back to Cancun and arrived back at the island ready for some relaxation. Upon leaving Isla for the return to the U.S., our ferry was struck by lightening. It was very scary because we were sitting on the top deck, exposed and the noise when it hit ...Read More

This resort is high for Isla Mujeres, but not high by many travel standards. We have stayed there twice using RCI certificates, which cost only $170. We stayed for a week both times, and it cost a total of only $170. The property is very well maintained, and the service is top-notch. It has the best pool on the island, and the best fried calamari anywhere! Even the one time we stayed on the north end of the island, we took a cab to Villa Vera for the fried calamari. The room was cleaned perfectly every day. Take their free boat across the lagoon to the beach where there is another pool, bar, and restaurant.

This is a great place to stay! The rooms are VERY reasonable and include breakfast. Location is very convenient but a bit noisy due to construction. Great shops and restaurants within walking distance. The beach club is a few blocks but worth the walk. Our room was very basic and if you're going to stay very long I would recommend upgrading. The pool and lobby bar are very nice, and they have a free Internet computer at the bar.

This is a beautiful property. Food is average and drinks are expensive, but the location is very convenient to the airport for early departures. You can take a kayak or paddle boat in the lagoon behind the hotel, or go snorkeling right out front if it's calm. There are several pools and the beach is great. Rooms are perfect!

The food is usually good and the drinks are great. They often have music late. You must try the coffee! They pour tequila on top and set it on fire. They make a real production out of it while making it at your table.

This is a great place to hang out and swim, play volleyball, or just eat/drink. The pool is awesome! The facilities are free if you are eating or drinking. The restrooms are very clean and also free. Boats dock there and it's a great place to watch people. The food is good and reasonable.
