Simply beautiful, this Lodge offers top-of-the-world views with a very wonderful staff. The locals treat you like you are one of the family and the food is just as good! This is not a stay-all-week kind of place in my book, although you will want to. Situated between Anchorage and Kenai, you will want to see what else you can find after check-out! Beautiful VIEW!

You haven't tasted pizza until you've been here! This place has the LARGEST LARGE pizza and the best flavor you can ask for. The food was top-notch. We at here A LOT! The chicken alfredo was very good, too! It offers very large portions for your money!!

This is the place to hang out, drink a few beers, relax, and meet the locals. Give your singing skills a try with Nick the karaoke DJ--he's a hoot! This place is a great little place and has pretty good food too! Bring your wallet, because just like any other place in Alaska, it's expensive. But it's well worth the stumble in--you can also rent a room if you have too much.

Story/Tip

On the Beach

There are many things to do in Alaska. Anchorage, being the "big" city, offers great eats and lots of shopping! But head south to Kenai and see the Alaska you were meant to see. In the summertime, you can walk the beach in Kenai, fish the Kenai River, or take a stroll through the many off-the-beaten-path walkways. There is never a dull moment on the Kenai Peninsula. I grew up there, and if you are an outdoors person, this is the place for you. Hiking, fishing, hunting, coffee--they love coffee here. Every corner offers another place for coffee.

There are endless things to do, and all year long, within a short drive from each other. Driving is a must, and walking is another. Don't forget to take the 70-mile trip to Homer. If you love the water, you will love Homer. Make sure to take a boat tour when in Seward or in Homer; they are the best ways to see the marine life Alaska has to offer.
