Best Things About the Resort:

Resort Experience:
It's a great campground right on Table Rock Lake. It had a dock with lake access, a hot tub, electricity, and firewood for sale in the small clubhouse/check-in area. There was also a playground and an indoor pool/recreation room with pool table and Ping-Pong.

I actually worked here for a period of time so I was able to see many of the various rooms offered. This is a 3 diamond resort, however, the only reason it is not 4 diamond is that they do not have a full service restaurant on site, they do have all of the other things required for this level.

The cabins are perfect for those who want to feel like they are away from it all. They are situated right off of the strip in downtown Branson but when standing on the front or back porch you would never know, all you see is other cabins and trees.

The condos are either deluxe, which is older, though still nice they are generally dated with 1980s decor and appliances. Or Premiere, more expensive but most are only a few years old to brand new, with up to date furnishings, and higher end details. They have everything from motel rooms to 4 bedrooms, the cabins fill up fast!

We actually have not attended the live shows, or eaten here, but this is also one of the better places we have found for nightlife. Around 9pm they open up the dance floor and it is more of a club/disco atmosphere. Around 11 -midnight it gets rather crowded. The last time we were in town they had salsa one night, and top 40 on other night.
The drink prices were fairly cheap, and there is a decent amount of seating.

Joe's Crab ShackBest of IgoUgo

Restaurant | "Joes Crab Shack"

On the weekend expect to wait an hour or more for a table. We put our name on the list but then hovered in the bar area waiting for someone to get up. They will serve all of their regular menu at the bar so you don't have to wait for a table if you have the ability to sit at the bar. We ended up finishing our meal before our name was even called off the list. If you do need a table it gets less crowded starting around 7:30pm. I wanted to go here for the tye dye drink, and Crab Shack regulars know what this is but they no longer have it at this location. The food was good as usual, the Coconut Shrimp was actually better than I have ever had at any other Crab Shack and there is a six layer chocolate cake that everyone should try to save room for!

Tanger Outlet CenterBest of IgoUgo

Attraction | "Tanger Factory Outlet Mall"

The best of the outlets in Branson, and also a bit off of the strip, so you can avoid the traffic if you can learn the back roads. It has the best stores, like Tommy, Polo, Gap, etc. There's not a whole lot in the way of food here--an A&W is the most group-friendly and crowded place there. Other than that, it is mostly snack stores. Parking is best if you drive to the Polo outlet end of the mall.

Attraction

If possible the best time to go in the summer is mornings and weekdays, Sunday was not bad either. The parking situation is better at the Belk end rather than the Bass Pro end, there is a structure that I have not tried yet though that is in the center of the mall. The stores are nothing special, the same stuff you will find at any mall just about with the exception of a few "Branson" stores. The water show is almost always packed, so if you want to see it you better find a spot early and sit and wait.

Other things that make the Landing more unique from other malls are the Trolley that goes from one end to the other, and I have never see it full, a clown that is near the playground doing balloon animals, the playground that is pirate themed, and the dock at Bass Pro. This has also become the night spot in Branson. Given the lack of actual bars and night clubs in town Bar Louie and Crab Shack have become the places to hang out after hours. The atmosphere is pleasant and looks a bit like an old town city street. There is actually plenty of walking space though people crowed to the edges. This is more of a tourist attraction rather than for the locals. I personally live only 35 minutes away and didn't go for the first time until well more than a year after it opened!
