Winter camping in Anza-Borrego Desert State Park, with a day trip into Borrego Springs

Palm Canyon

Hotel

Best Things Nearby:
Trailhead for Palm Canyon hike, 3 miles round-trip.

Best Things About the Resort:
Peaceful, and you can hear coyotes yipping in the night!

Resort Experience:
This campground features an RV pull-through area with fill hook-ups and a couple of loops for tent-camping. There are nice bathroom facilities. Definitely go between November and March to beat the heat.

A major mudslide came through here a few years ago and changed the trail. It also wiped out some of the palms. You can see the impressive debris as you go along the trail. There are 10  interpretive points along the way.
