Overview

The sunsets at Mallory Square, or just above our resort (the Galleon) lookout deck! Smathers beach is one of our favorites, but they are all wonderful! The resort pool with bingo is fun. Duval street is fabulous, and there are some great places to shop all around the Old Historic area. Sunset boat cruise a must!Quick Tips: Coupons are everywhere, being handed out on the street, at booths and entry ways of restaurants. The resort had great maps and event books. There is a scooter rental at the galleon so that was convenient, although we didn't partake.Best Way To Get Around: We had a pretty large rental car and surprisingly got around fine. The 4 of us couldn't fit into a convertible,...Read More

Best Things Nearby:Duval Street, fabulous dining and entertainment... beaches never too far on this island! Best Things About the Resort:The Tiki Bar and Pool, large decks off of units, location, and it was very clean. Very nice harbor walk to the right of the resort, many nice places to walk.Resort Experience:The 2 bedroom unit was fully equiped and very clean. Nice hot tub in master room, washer and dryer in unit.  It had a very spacious living area and kitchen, the balcony rocks! The pool is also very clean (give it up for the fabulous pool guy). I'll take his job, everything is within walking distance, except for maybe the beaches. The sunset look-out on t...Read More

I'm not sure if they take reservations, we decided to eat here when walking along the "harbor walk". Very good, fresh seafood! Definitely in the higher price range. It's a nice open air restaurant. The lobster was over 40 market. There is music as well, mostly acoustic, from what we could tell. Very nice.

This was well worth it... we wanted to go back again a second night all you can drink sunset sail and music. Roughly 2 or so hours. This is how you must watch one of the most beautiful sunsets in the world! Just don't fall overboard!

Not many places like it, take your drinks from one place to the next (except for two friends patio—not to be mean, this karaoke bar is a riot!), or heck, buy your own beer and fill the cup up for the road!

Sloppy Joe's is a hoppin' bar, good music. The Lazy Gecko is very cool and Flat Jacks had awesome burgers and beer (pool tables). Many bars with TVs and sports games playing, we dug that for a while.

Didn't stop at Hogs Breath, but it had some pumpin' music...packed!

Visit the smallest bar in the world if you like—you'll see it...maybe.

Excellent food (breakfast and all) down Duval! Shopping...Even a cute little grocery store...We love it!

Beautiful white powder sand beaches—sun in the fun or relax. A wonderful place to unwind for the day—nice long walks along the beach and a good book.
