Resort Experience:
We rode down together taking turns driving. Leaving CH VA around 3pm we arrived at our motel in Savannah around 10pm. We left Savannah around 8:30am , We arrived maderia Beach around 5pm, We had reservations for a condo at the RCI timeshare Commodore Beach Club. Coomodore was a nice quaint cozy like older motel style beachfront condo. It had outdoor pool , open fireplace BBQ pits complete with its own bugs. My wife and I slept on the sofa which opened to a double bed. Our friends slept in the one bedroom double bed. It had a nice groomed beach which at the time had a lot of dead fish because of the Red Sea infectious algae bloom. from February till after Katrina. It was a nice place to stay , I would probably not go with friends next time , or at least take two vehicles. August may not be the best time to go there. I'm sure March and April are better. We returned home the following weekend.
