This hotel is a medium size for Disney and moderately priced. Being built around a lake, it is spread out, but that fits with its theme. The security gates are less than perfect, but since 9/11, all the Disney hotels have added extra security steps. The sit-down Mayan-themed restaurant is better than the market-themed restaurant, though, again, both are theme centric. This hotel can accommodate conventions, so some space and walking distances are due to that. Ignoring the compromises, it is still Disney and great!
