The Westin Club Regina Resort is in the tourist Corridor area of Cabo San Lucas. It is built on the cliffs directly on the Sea of Cortez. There are two sections of the resort, the hotel area and the timeshare area. We stayed in the timeshare area in a very nice, very large one-bedroom condo. We were very impressed with the large room we were ushered into by the bell boy. There was a king-size bed that was at least 7 square feet, a bathroom with a shower that was 3 1/2 feet by 6 feet, a large closet, and a raised sitting area. Floor-to-ceiling windows along one whole wall gave a fantastic view of the Sea of Cortez. In front of the windows was a 5-foot square sunken whirlpool tub. Imagine our amazement ...Read More

We stayed for 3 nights in the hotel from HELL, aka The Grand Baja Resort and Spa. We booked this with an outfit in Florida called FamTrip Travel. It was one of those timeshare trips: Come visit our resort for free for 3 nights and submit to a 90-minute timeshare presentation. We had to pay what we were told was a FULLY REFUNDABLE $99 deposit for 3 nights, 4 days in a five-star one-bedroom suite. We weren't put in a suite but a hotel room linked to another room. We complained that we were supposed to be in a suite and were told that for an additional $66 per night they would move us to a suite. We declined. There are no ice machines, so we called room service for some...Read More

Jungle Snorkeling Cruise

The Jungle cruise from the marina was a blast! A great crew, a great trip. The cruise leaves the southeast end of the marina at about 9 or 10am (hey, it's Mexico). We cruised through the bay over to Santa Maria Cove, where we snorkeled and then had a great lunch aboard the boat. After this, we had a leisurely cruise back to Cabo past the Arch at Lands End. During the entire cruise there was rock'n'roll music playing, and the crew was very entertaining with their leaping antics. There were unlimited drinks available, from weak margaritas to a variety of beers, sodas, and of course bottled water. A couple of passengers even tried their best at a beer bomb, where a large funnel with a stop cloc...Read More

The Bucaneer Queen sunset cruise was a very enjoyable trip. I've always wanted to ride on an old wooden pirate ship, and this was a great opportunity. The cruise starts off with a floor show while at the dock on the east side of the marina in Cabo San Lucas. We left the dock and sailed out into the bay. When I say that we sailed, I mean that we traveled by the use of a motor in the bilge of the boat. The sails, while they were there and rolled up on the yard arms, were all tattered and unusable. But the atmosphere was fantastic. Unlimited drinks were served, and there was a light snack of chips, salsa, fruit and vegetable slices. We cruised out past the famous Arch at Lands End and then arou...Read More

The Pez Gato offers two types of boat cruises from the Marina at Cabo San Lucas, a sunset cruise and a snorkeling cruise. We went on both. The snorkeling cruise takes you out to the Santa Maria Bay north of Cabo along the Tourist Corridor. There we were able to snorkel with a variety of fish in a protected bay along the Sea of Cortez. Then we went to a second bay area for more snorkeling. After spending the better part of the day, we were taken back past the famous Arch at Lands End.During this tour, we were treated to unlimited drinks: beer, margaritas, soda, water, etc. Also served onboard were light snacks of chips, beans, salsa, and vegetable slices. This tour leaves at 10 in the morni...Read More
