I visited Neldham's last weekend and was very disappointed. The service was terrible. There was a sign about taking a number on the counter but no numbers in evidence. The counter persons were rude and ignored me because I was not ready to order the moment I stepped into the store. The facility is dirty and smells dirty, not the way you want a bakery to look or smell. I would much rather travel a little farther to the far superior Virginia Bakery on Shattuck in Berkeley. At least there the floor and counters are clean and do not smell like bug spray.
