The gay scene in Dublin is one of the best in Ireland, with lots of gay and gay-friendly pubs, clubs, hotels, and restaurants. Dublin has a lot to do, with art galleries, parks, colleges, and some of the best bars in the world. People here are friendly and know how to enjoy themselves. Dublin has come a long way in the last 10 years and is more open-minded. More than half of the Irish gay population lives there, with some of the best gay bars in the world, like the Dragon and George on George Street. You also have the front lounge, which is a very relaxing bar with some of the best DJs in the country playing. It also helps that it is open late every night. Irish bars close very early, 11:30pm weekdays and 12:30am weekends.

There is every kind of restaurant you can think of, so you won't be stuck for choice. There is also a huge range of shows every night of the week, and, of course saving the best till last, there's the shopping. Dublin has no shortage of shops, with some of the biggest designers in the world owning shops here. Make sure you bring plenty of money.
