Rafikis Best of IgoUgo

Attraction | "Rafiki's"

Quote:
Rafiki's (which means Friend in Swahili) is my all-time favourite place to have a drink and to catch up with ... friends!

They have, on a regular basis live performances. Keep an eye out for the bands Plush and Verity. They rock! On Tuesday there is a great duo playing (forget the name) African-style music scattered with golden oldies of for instance Bob Marley.

So do yourself a favour: go to Rafikis and order a Cobra/Mojito/Savanna/whatever and chill. Or go wild.

Café Mojito Best of IgoUgo

Attraction | "Mojito"

Quote:
Mojito is situated on upper Long Street and is the best place in town for a cocktail, especially from 5pm to 6pm, when all cocktails are R13/1.80 Euro.

Mojito isn't really the place to party, but it is an excellent spot to start-off your night out. Have a cocktail, something to eat (their Nacho's Grande and chicken jerky are excellent!), sit back and plan where you are off to next.

Marvel maybe (opposite), Jo'burg? Or a game of Pool at Stones instead? It is all up to you!

Stones Best of IgoUgo

Attraction

Quote:
Fancy a game of pool? Go to Stones on Long Street in the city centre (Long Street) or on Main Road in the suburb Observatory.
The one in the city centre has a great balcony overlooking Long Street, Cape Town's place to be when it comes to nightlife. They have a dance floor, too, so non-pool players have a reason to tag along.
Music? Everything from contemporary to '80s, '70s and '60s.
Vibe? Relaxed, easygoing... your typtical pool place atmosphere.
