I think my kids would say that their favorite thing would be the water park inside the resort. It's a nice place for the kids to play and cool off from the HOT sun!
Resort Experience:
We arrived at Summer Bay Sunday morning. The check-in process was really fast. The resort is very pretty, with well-kept lawns and a very friendly staff.
We went to our two-bedroom villa on the third floor. I thought the room was nice and rather spacious. The master bedroom had a king-size bed with a TV. The bathroom was kinda small, with no Jacuzzi tub, but it was clean. The living room had a leather couch and chair, and also a TV, stereo, and DVD player, with two big windows to view the other areas of the resort. The villa had a full kitchen that was somewhat small and a dining room table just to the left of the kitchen. There was a washer/dryer combo just outside the kitchen. The second bedroom and bathroom were big. It was very clean and roomy, with a queen-size bed and TV.
They have their own lake inside the resort where you can rent jet skis, paddleboats, and small motored boats. They have white sand for the kids to play in and several water toys in the lake, like a small and large rock climbing wall and trampoline to jump into the water. My kids LOVED that! The rental is a little expensive for the jet skis. Summer Bay also has a small water park inside for the kids. My children really liked that. They have a mini golf course inside, too. Overall, our stay at Summer Bay was nice, and I would like to visit again someday.
