Quick Change to Branson

In Branson, there are three things: shows (saw four), sightseeing (took several drives through the area), and food (recommend Great Wall for Chinese, Shoneys for breakfast, and Ryans in Springfield for lunch buffet). Don't miss Pierce-Arrow--a great show!

Quick Tips:

Discount coupons were everywhere. For shows, however, there is a booth in a purse outlet in the Shoppes of Branson where you can get tickets 2 for 1 (in price), no strings attached. We got two tickets to Pierce-Arrow for and about the same for two tickets to Moe Bandy!

Best Way To Get Around:

You must have a car. Anything else would be too time consuming. Keep as much as possible to the alternative routes to save time.

Best Things Nearby:
Of course, in Branson, it's the shows and the food--both plentiful and reasonably priced!

Best Things About the Resort:
It was clean and there was a clubhouse with an indoor pool and Internet (free) close at hand. It was centrally located to the strip (about a 3-minute drive).

Resort Experience:
We stayed in a one-bedroom lock-off, little cozy for four adults, but it worked out well. The mini kitchen had everything we needed. We ate in half the time. There was an indoor pool, billiards, and Internet access. We saw a number of shows. Pierce-Arrow was the best show of the four we saw (if you like four-part harmony a la Statlers)! We would recommend the Great Wall if you like a superb Chinese buffet.
