We started at Xandari in Alejuala and drove to Condovac Le Costa near Playa Hermosa. Then it was to Rincon de la Vieja. We had an awesome time in each place, but we would never drive ourselves across Costa Rica again, as the roads are horrible.

Overview

Xandari
The Xandari resort was awesome. It is located outside of San Jose if you fly in there. Spa treatments are relaxing as newlyweds.

Quick Tips:

We drove across the country would not do it again. We did a timeshare in Playa Hermosa that was VERY cheap, like under -for-the-weak cheap in the rainy season. It was a decent resort; it was not the Ritz but not Days Inn either.

Best Way To Get Around:

Take a bus.
