The impeccable standards of Victoria and Alberts are noticed from the first moment of the visit. The restaurant is lovely but understated, with crisp linens and soft candlelight. The piano plays softly and the service staff is immediately attentive without being intrusive. A personal menu with each diner's name awaits, with choices for each of the several courses from appetizers to dessert. Most tastes (my wife - traditional, myself - experimental) will find an appealing dish throughout the meal. Every course is exceptional. The courses appear smallish, but after five or six that perfectly complement one another, the diner is pleasantly satisfied.
The only thing that could make a meal here more satisfying would be a view of the park, but the ambiance of the restaurant makes up for the lack of an external view. In fact, I personally found myself forgetting that I was in the sometimes-too-touristy Disney, so compelling was the delicious meal and exquisite service. It is an absolute must for my wife and I every time we are in Orlando.
