Autumn Week in Breezy Point, Minnesota

We spent at least two days driving around most country roads and stopped by nice and quiet lakes to take beautiful pictures of fall foliage. It was just fantastic. Sunday brunch by the lake was very delightful and romantic. Walking by the lake front at the resort was very refreshing and relaxing.

Quick Tips:

Do visit the nearest town, Pequot Lakes, where you can get good informational guide at the Information Center. Visit a couple of small and nice souvenir shops at Nisswa and have great meals at either Baxter or Brainerd. Crosslake has a nice city park to relax and rest.

Best Way To Get Around:

There are a lot of biking trails --- very safe and well managed. Scenery is beautiful along the trails. Need a car to drive around the huge resort.

Best Things Nearby:
Many good country roads to drive by to experience fall foliage in full bloom for last week of Sept. and first week of October.

Best Things About the Resort:
Spacious accommodation with golf course view. Huge resort to drive around. Lots of water sports by the lake. Good food at the on-site restaurant at waterfront. Indoor swimming pool and a variety of organized activities. Great conference room facilities and nice gift shop.

Resort Experience:
Beautiful scenery by the lakefront and at the golf course. Nice and quiet at fall. Sunday brunch at the on-site restaurant(s) was terrific. Warm hospitality of staff. Free DSL Internet service available at lobby. Resort is Gold Crown with well-equipped kitchen, washer/dryer, and microwave. Clean and spacious. Has its own BBQ grill at patio facing the golf course. Can get adjacent unit to become three-bedroom with lots of privacy. Warm and hospitable staff. Great place for lake-lovers!
