This is a smaller hotel with about 35 rooms on four floors. It's in the Opera District, just a half-block walk from the lake. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. The rooms are always clean and ready for guests. On the top floor they have a wonderful full service spa available to women only. If you fly into Zurich for the first night, prearrange a full-body massage for that evening. It's a wonderful way to begin a relaxing stay.
The hotel dining room serves a nice buffet breakfast. For lunch or dinner, try the very popular Italian restaurant, Amalfi, just across the street. It has good food and fine waiters. Although this hotel was first opened to women, only they now are opened to men as well, so feel free to recommend it to couples or even single men. They seem to have quite a few businessmen staying there.
