Key West is Something Else!!

A September 2005 trip to Key West by 2cranes

Quote: Key West is unlike any place you have ever been. The people are very tolerant and anything goes---chickens and roosters are all over and there are a lot of different kinds of people. There is plenty to see if you enjoy people-watching. There is terrific diving, fishing, parasailing, and any other water activity you can think of.

Located right on the waterfront, we had a window seat and could watch the fish in the water below when people threw crumbs or french fries out. The atmosphere is rustic--license plates all over the walls. It looks like a typical eating place in a fishing village. The food was excellent and so was the service. Parking meters are available.

PT's is a well-known spot for late-night dining. It is a sports bar with TVs all over. We were there for lunch, and it had good fajitas and a list of chalkboard specials that all sounded good. The one I chose was excellent. Parking was available but rather limited.
