WOW! Cabo is a great place for a family or couples. The nightlife was fantastic, the food was absolutely superb, and the ocean activities and views were the best yet!

Food Overall

We ate at every food stop that we came upon, from our luxurious resort to a taco shack. We had great food experiences here in Cabo! Our mouths were dancing with joy testing all the different salsas, each having their own unique flavors. The tamales were one of our favorites, along with steak burritos and chicken quesadillas. This is not Taco Bell food; this stuff was GREAT!!!

Cabo's Nightlife

There is never a dull moment in Cabo, whether you're up for a great Latin show or to go dancing yourself. There is an opportunity around every corner. Some shows on the downtown strip may not be suitable for the family, however. But all resort shows are highly enjoyable and safe for the youngsters. There is something for EVERYONE.

Mexican Brew!

What else could Mexico be known for besides its tequila!! There are Corona's around every single corner. And the margaritas are unbelievable! The red tequila is outrageously strong stuff. Just try to do the Mexican yell after taking a shot.

They are very accommodating. All water activities are right in front of the resorts. You can take water taxis instead of walking the shoreline if you have a short distance to a specific attraction. The beach wasn't the best for swimming, but it was fantastic for sipping a cold daiquiri on a sunny day under a cabana!

Snorkeling

We made a day of snorkeling off the Spanish Gallion in the marina at downtown Cabo. They serve you lunch and provide entertainment (and a free open bar of course). The snorkeling gear was provided. We spent about 30 minutes snorkeling and saw some great sights. The water is somewhat murky and chilly, but we could've spent much longer being out there. I would definitely do it again, just on our own, so we could snorkel to our heart’s content!

Downtown Flea Market

There are flea markets all around Cabo. The one located downtown seemed to offer the best prices and cleanest merchandise. You can take a taxi or walk. It's a couple miles, though, so put on those walking shoes! There are great little dives to eat at along the way as well.
