Inexpensive fine dining in Lima, Peru

A September 2005 trip to Lima by scarruth

I visited Lalo’s, a small restaurant located in the business district in San Isidro. It offered an excellent selection of daily specials of local and regional dishes in the $3 to $5 range. It is located at Augusto Tamayo 196 (close to the metro in San Isidro).

The food was outstanding. I was in Lima for 4 days and visited this restaurant every day. Everything was fresh and the prices were very inexpensive. The ceviche is highly recommended.
