Best Things Nearby:Island Park, Idaho, is not a very big town. We had to go into West Yellowstone for a decent grocery store. It was an easy commute, only 22 miles.Best Things About the Resort:The office staff is very qualified. They know the area and were very helpful.Resort Experience:Island Park Village is a small resort. The staff is its best quality. The check-in and -out was effortless. We requested a towel exchange and they were brought to our room while we were out for the day. The unit was a little older but had everything we needed. The hike to Mt Washburn is breathtaking. This is a large, well-maintained trail with many wonderful views. The top has an observation tower with an inside and outside deck that includes restrooms. It is well worth the effort.
