Seabrook Best of IgoUgo

Overview

The three-mile beach here is pristine and beautiful. In the summer months Seabrook transforms into a busy vacation destination. The Kittery outlets are nearby with great shopping. Boston is a quick train or car ride away. Deep Sea fishing out of Seabrook and Hampton Harbors is a popular diversion for locals and tourists alike. Be sure and drive north along Route 1A for breathtaking views of the Atlantic.

Quick Tips:

The main attraction here is certainly the beach. We usually have excellent surf. The water temperature is a bit chilly though. Only 65-70 degrees in the summer. August is the best month for swimming. Teenagers will find plenty to do in neighboring Hampton Beach.

Best Way To Get Around:

A car is essential here. There is train service from neighboring Newburyport Mass. into Boston. Bicycles are great for exploring the beach.
Though nothing fancy, this hotel is incredibly clean and modern. All rooms have a balcony. There is a large indoor pool and restaurant serving breakfast and lunch.

Go early because at Round Rock there is no such thing as a reservation. This is truly a local favorite. Seafood and steaks are great here. Be sure and try the fried clams. Landlubbers shouldn't miss the artery-clogging cheddar chicken!!!

Restaurant

This restaurant is a family tradition here! The service can be slow at times, but the food keeps us going back. The menu at the Galley Hatch is extensive. There is a great bakery out back.

Attraction

It's great to get on a boat and out onto the ocean. The two hour trips are perfect for beginners. The jigging technique is easy to learn. There are also fireworks cruises.
