Needless to say, we woke up early the next day, like at 3am, ready to start the day. Our neighbors had also just arrived the day before, because they were also looking off the balcony at this time of the morning. We spoke and then decided to take a stroll on the beach. We were very comfortable and felt safe on the beach, even at this early hour.

Our hotel was directly on Waikiki Beach. There were many water activities to do right in front of our hotel. We went on a guided sailboat trip for about an hour one day and there were beautiful views. The water was so clear, you could see the bottom at 30 feet, and it looked like it was just right there. The water and beach were very nice, clean, and pretty.

We were within walking distance from our hotel to many restaurants and shops. There were a lot of high-rise buildings and shopping in the area. This part of Hawaii is not the tropical countryside you often see in pictures, as there was a lot of concrete and high rises.

One evening we went to a Hawaiian luau. It was located a distance from our hotel, but like many of the sightseeing tours, they picked us up at our hotel and brought us back, which was included in the price. They did hula dancing and put on a show of removing the pig from the ground, and then everyone was allowed to go get their food. The entire experience was really good and enjoyable.

Our room was really nice, but did not have a tub, only a shower. That was my only complaint. The room had double beds, a television, a mini refrigerator, a safe, a coffeepot, a hair dryer, a dresser, and a balcony overlooking the ocean and beach.

Outside of the lobby area was a nice, outdoor pool area, and then past that was the beach. The beach was really nice, and the water was just beautiful, as it was so clean and clear.

We were within walking distance to many of the restaurants and shops. There were also restaurants at the hotel.

The beach in front of our hotel offered many services. You could get chairs or umbrellas and also do a number of water activities. We took a guided sailing trip one day, and the view was wonderful. You could see the bottom of the ocean even in 30-feet-deep water.

This was a nice hotel, and I probably would stay there again on a future trip to Hawaii.

While eating and afterwards there was a very entertaining show going on. They were hula dancing and doing different things. They even picked people out of the audience to participate.

The event started at 4:45pm, begun by a Mai Tai greeting. They then had arts-and-crafts and games of skill. You were free to roam the area for a while playing the games or watching everyone. They had nice buildings with restrooms, which was a good idea to visit before getting back on the bus to the hotels. The buses departed around 9:15pm and headed back to the hotels.

This was a very enjoyable experience and was great for all ages. They had storytelling, games, drinks, food, dancing, and music. I would definitely spend the money to go back again.

The shopping area had shops with accessories, apparel, art galleries, banks, beauty salons, books, entertainment, fashion designers, flowers and lei stands, furniture, gifts, and souvenirs, jewelry, photo processing, real estate, refreshments, restaurants, services, and information, sun products, and travel services.

There were 11 restaurants, which were Beijing Chinese Restaurant, Café Princess Restaurant and Garden, Daruma Restaurant, Lobster and Crab House, Naniwa-ya Restaurant, Okonomiyaki Chibo, Restaurant Suntory, Royal Steak and Seafood House, Shilla Korean, Spaghetti Spaghetti, and Villa Paradise. They also had refreshment places that served cookies, ice cream, snow cones, hot dogs, pizza, coffee, and such things like that. The mall also had several bars and nightclubs.

There were numerous clothing stores. They had the name-brand stores like Polo Ralf Lauren, Spirit, Levis, Ocean Pacific, Sonia Riskier, Guess, KenDone, Giorgio Armani Le Collezioni, Massimo, Burberrys, DKNY, and also appeal stores like Asagusa, Allure, Andrade Sale Studio, Boutique Marlo, Coco, Clothing, Crazy Shirts, and many more.

This was a really neat nice and clean shopping area. It was in a great location right on the beach, and we shopped or ate here most of the nights we were in town. I would definitely visit this shopping center again.
