This is a breakfast/lunch place. Cute and tiny and so yummy!! They make all their food from scratch. My girlfriend and I had walked by a couple of times. The first morning we ate the free breakfast at the hotel, which was kinda gross. So we decided to go to the Queen of Tarts the next day. I am so glad that I did. The eggs, biscuit, and bacon was soooo good. I bought a scone for the plane ride back to London, and I am glad I did. It was the best scone I have ever had. I wish I had another day to eat there again.

What they say about Guinness being the best in Dublin is true! I was excited to go to the Guinness factory. What I didn't expect was the price. It cost 14 Euros for one adult. If you buy your ticket online at http://www.guinness-storehouse.com/home/home.asp (which I didn't think of beforehand), you get a 10% discount. So, besides it being a little pricey to walk around the brewery, it was fun. Follow the arrows through the factory and you won't miss a thing. Be sure to watch the video at the beginning. It gives a lot of interesting history about the Guinness family and their contributions to the city of Dublin.

I believe the entire brewery is on something like 35 acres. They are the biggest employer in Dublin. As you walk through, it explains every detail of the process that goes into making Guinness. They have maps showing where Guinness is shipped every day. You don't actually get to see the beer being made, but it's still pretty cool. The tour (self-guided) takes place at what they call the STOREHOUSE. It was a building that was once a central part of the brewing process. It was the place where fermentation took place.

My favorite part is the Gravity Bar at the top of the building. It has a 365-degree view of the city of Dublin. Grab your complimentary pint of Guinness from the bar, pull up a chair, look at the amazing view, and enjoy the best beer in the world.

They are open 7 days a week from 9:30am to 5pm.
