As I discover new restaurants in Scottsdale, I will put them here.

I must have driven by this place dozens of times and not known it was there until I saw the under-renovation banner. This is a cozy neighborhood restaurant with possibly the best salads and sandwiches you could find. Every ingredient and every menu item (except the breads) is prepared fresh to order. Their specialties are the salads, with fresh vegetables and original salad dressings. They also have breakfasts and dinner entrees on the menu. Another person near me had the shrimp dinner, and it looked fantastic!

They served the best guacamole I have ever had at a restaurant, but then again, it was made at my table, according to my specifications, so it should be pretty good! The steaks were perfect, and the decor was beautiful, open, and airy, with tall windows overlooking the golf course (thus the name "Windows on the Green").

Windows on the Green
6000 East Camelback Road Scottsdale, Arizona 85251

This is a place to take out-of-town guests when the weather is great in Scottsdale. Their indoor seating is cramped (an old house), but their patio is beautiful, with fountains and flames and trees. Come for the appetizers and drinks near sunset, and you won't be disappointed.
