Best Things Nearby:
Port Lucaya, International Bazaar, Downtown, and Duty-Free Liquor Stores

Best Things About the Resort:
The staff is great. Every day there is a different activity at the resort.

Resort Experience:
The Ocean Reef Yacht Club and Resort is a nice resort. The rooms are nice and comfortable. This resort is located away from Port Lucaya and the beautiful beaches located by the Sheraton and Our Lucaya. You must either take a cab (which can get expensive) or a bus for $1, but there is no schedule for the buses.

The resort only has one place to eat, Groupers. Groupers is expensive, but most of the restaurants on the island are pricey. You can grocery shop, but everything is imported which is really expensive. No matter what, you can't win. If you like to party, then it’s a must to hook up with the natives, because we had a great time. We went to 8 Mile Rock (all natives), a fish fry (tourist), and then the block party down the road from the fish fry (natives once again). For Friday night, La Tropica is a native club located in the International Bazaar, which is mostly reggae and reggae rockers. We had a great time there. Charles and Debbie at the resort host a trip to Lucayan National Park, which was fun. There are beautiful beaches you must see, with lots of Bahamian punch.

The food was really good. This is a must. FYI: If you can get a discount from attending a timeshare meeting, you will save $35 per person.
