Big Island Vacation

A September 2005 trip to Kona by JICPAC

Since we moved to Tahoe, we exchanged our Tahoe resort for the Big Island of Hawaii to visit a family member who recently moved there. We stayed at the Paniolo Greens in Waikoloa.

Best Things Nearby:
The best thing nearby is obviously the beaches.

Best Things About the Resort:
The best things about this resort are the spaciousness and amenities of the condo. The washer/dryer in the condo was a big plus. The grocery store at the resort was another big plus.

Resort Experience:
Our stay at Paniolo Greens was wonderful. It is centered for easy access to various locations. Two trips were made to Hilo via Waimea, with two trips to Kona. The only distraction to the Hawaiian landscape was the graffiti on the lava beds on each side of the main road from the airport.
