Mountain Retreat

A September 2005 trip to Pigeon Forge by lincomfelt4

We had a great time in the mountains. The timeshare was not what we are used to.

I felt like I was at a budget-type hotel. We stayed in a one-bedroom with a sleeper sofa. My kids don't normally say anything about the sofa, but they said that it was so bad that they would rather sleep on the floor, and our bed was the same. I'm not one to have back pains, but I did after sleeping on that bed for 3 nights. The place was also not clean. The carpet missed a cleaning about 5 years ago. It was done in an old style, with teal and peach colors if that tells you anything. The staff seemed bothered to be at work. You pay $30 for maid service that you don't receive until you leave. The rooms in general had a smell to them. I would not stay here again. It was a waste of points if you are looking for a nice resort.

Attraction | "Old McDonald Putt-Putt"

There is new Putt-Putt in Pigeon Forge, called the Old McDonald Putt-Putt. We had a wonderful time. There were three different courses to choose from. We played all three and had a wonderful time. It was really nice and clean. Some of the games in the game room ate our tokens, but the staff was helpful in getting those back.
