Weekend Getaway Ct. Shore

An April 2004 trip to Westbrook by tracineb

This was a value weekend getaway for 4 days. We visited the Connecticut shore, Mystic, shopped at the local outlet store, enjoyed the famous Sunday brunch, and walked the local shores. Great on-site amenities.

On-site amenities included a full spa, tennis courts, gym, pool area, exercise area, and more. The grounds are well groomed, probably a great place for a wedding if you lived nearby!

Attraction | "Shopping at the outlet stores"

we went to the local outlet stores and found a person could spend literally two or three days to get through all of the stores! Kids loved it, and great for a rainy day.

Attraction | "Walking along the shores"

we spent a good deal of time along the shores, and on the beaches walking and enjoying the natural beauty of the area. Off season, not too many tourists, and quiet New England community.
