This journal summarizes our family's vacation experience. Our family includes two adult parents, one adult son, and two teenage sons. This 10-day vacation was our first to the Bahamas.

Resort Experience:
The resort was still being reconstructed from the results of the 2004 hurricanes. As a result, many amenities were missing. Housekeeping service was good, but attitudes among many staff were fair to poor. There were several folks who were upbeat and tourist-friendly, but more who weren't.
