We took our bicycles after lunch and went to the 20 minute ride to the Eastern group of temples. This temples are located in a walled enclosure and are not as magnificent, erotic and numerous as the temples of the western group.
The largest of these temples is the Parsavanath Temple with its elegantly chiseled day to day activities: writing a letter, getting dressed, removing a thorn from feet, etc. Just outside of the temple is a museum with collections of relics, columns and broken off friezes from the site. We found the Eastern group of Hindu temples scattered in the surrounding fields. We were not as impressed with these temples of the Eastern group.
