The one-bedroom unit is a very nice size with a full kitchen. It has a pull-out couch in the living room area. The resort is wonderful with giving you extra towels--many times without even requesting them. The beach is beautiful, and you can rent jet skis there. The marina is across the street and has snorkeling, a glass-bottom boat, and parasailing available. There are ladies who ask you to buy necklaces if you want your hair braided daily, but if you tell them no, they won't continue to bother you. There is a conch stand to the left of the beach, and it's definitely an interesting experience. I would recommend trying it.

This is a private beach. You do have to park and walk to it, but the walk is easy with two different paths to choose from. Both paths take you through the Mangrove Swamp, and both have a nice easy trail to follow. There did seem to be a lot of trees down on the beach from the hurricanes last year, but it was still gorgeous. This was probably my favorite beach and was definitely worth the drive to it. They charge a $3 donation that goes to the national park.

It is supposed to start at 8pm, but as you will find in the Bahamas, they don't rush to start anything, and it was 10pm before they got started. Get used to the Bahamian time schedule and just relax. The tables in the square began to fill up around 7:30pm. The limbo guy is awesome. I've never seen such a good performance before. You have to see it to believe it. This show is on Friday nights.

I did swim with the dolphins. It was a good experience, and I enjoyed it. We were in the water as a group of six with one dolphin. I would say that we were swimming for about 15 minutes. The trainer had the dolphin swim around everyone, and you could reach out and touch the dolphin. They then had the dolphin swim to each person, and the trainer showed each person a command to give the dolphin so it would do a trick for you. They also had the dolphin kiss each person and took a picture of you then. I think that if I was going to do it again, I would have done the open-ocean dolphin swim instead of the dolphin swim in the enclosure. I would recommend calling before you arrive in the Bahamas to reserve your space if this is something you really want to do.

We rented scooters one day while we were there and had a great time on them. This was one of the highlights of our trip. They can be a little difficult to drive at first, but once you get used to them, they're not bad. In order to rent them, you just need a driver's license. We rented them for most of the day and drove them around for 6.5 hours. There are several places around the Port Lucaya Marketplace where you can rent them.
