Best Things Nearby:
Dollywood, Dolly's Splash Country, Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, 2 Tanger outlet Malls, Belz Factory Outlet World, Pigeon Forge Outlet Mall, Louise Mandrell's Show, Alabama's Restraunt, Smoky Mt. Nat'l Park, 2 Large Flea Markets.

Best Things About the Resort:
There is a great veiw of the Smokt Mts. All rooms have a patio over looking the Mts. All the staff were very helpful. If you just wanted to stay at the resort and relax they had a corn and hot dog roast, breakfast, crafts and other things to attend without leaving there. The resort is a short drive to any of the attractions and restraunts.

Resort Experience:
The resort was well kept, clean, and up-to-date. They just replaced the living room furniture the morning of our arrival. Linens, towels, and beach towels were all supplied. A washer, dishwasher, and dishwasher detergents were also supplied. They have two outdoor pools, and at both there are hot tubs and 3-foot children’s pools. They also have an indoor pool (no lifeguards). They have shuffleboards and a pool volleyball setup in one outdoor pool. They have a sauna. You can purchase or order show and attraction tickets at a reduced price there. There were a lot of families there with mom, dad, children, gram and pap.

It is a very scenic park. There is a large Sugarlands visitor's center in the park to get info and maps for walking and hiking. There is a large scaled map to view and decide what areas of the park interest you and your group; also inside is a small museum. They have a program with scheduled times, so a ranger can tell you about things going on each day. There is also a gift shop inside. The view of the Smoky Mountains is amazing. There are waterfalls, wildlife, birds, and lots of trees and blooming flowers. At the top of the mountain, you stand on one side, and you are in North Carolina, and on the other you are in Tennessee.

Attraction

It was a relaxing day. For kids, young and old, there are amusement and water rides, Sponge Bob Square Pants Turbo Action Ride, Clifford the Big Red Dog, animals, shows, music, and games. Ride the old steam engine.

We ate at the Hickory House. The food was great. We had a half rack of barbeque ribs, fries, and a baked-beans platter for $10.95.
