Visiting Lake Tahoe - SO much to do!

An August 2005 trip to Lake Tahoe by BlondeBarbie

I have vacationed in Tahoe many, many times, BUT this time was with a junior high group from church. There were about 100 of us who went camping at Camp Richardson. We had the time of our lives. We took advantage of many of the activites around the lake area.

Hotel

Very nice campground. Within walking distance to the lake, bike rentals, kayak rentals, etc. We drove to North Star and went mountain biking, which turned out to be very exciting. We also took a whitewater rafting tour down the Truckee River. Very fun!
