The most memorable thing about Amsterdam is that you are really there. The people are nice and the city is beautiful. The public transportation is so easy that a child can figure it out. If you are healthy, I urge you to walk everywhere. We walked 10 to 15 miles a day. We did the Anne Frank house, a riverboat tour, and the Heineken Brewery.

As I said above, we walked everywhere. The public transportation system is very easy and fast. Trains are all numbered and maps show right where they go. It is very easy.
