Best Things Nearby:Nothing is really 'close' except the beach across the streetBest Things About the Resort:The resort is pretty isolated from the town of Galveston (which is good and bad). The staff was great! The breeze kept the temperature bearable most of the time, and the ocean was warm.Resort Experience:The resort is at least 15 miles from the town and sightseeing activities. The Historic Strand was fun to poke around for an afternoon. Renting an umbrella and chairs was worth the money - almost like a small private beach.
