Amsterdam is way underrated because it is clouded by its blooming sex and drugs industries. However, if you can look beyond that, it is actually a very very beautiful city with friendly native people. A 1- to 2-day side trip to Den Haag, where the Queen resides, is highly recommended.

Amsterdam is not cheap at all. In fact, because they know that tourists go there to have fun and spend money, everything is so freaking expensive.Best Way To Get Around:
Walking. You don't need or want to drive in Amsterdam. Everywhere in the city is within walking distance.
