Trip to the ZooBest of IgoUgo

Overview

Tortoise
At the entrance of the zoo, there are large water fountains that the children can play in and cool off. The Mayan exhibit is breathtaking, full of animals and plant life. The snack area is on a swamp complete with alligators. You have your choice of eating at a sit-down restaurant or at a snack bar.

Quick Tips:

We suggest your little ones bring some swimwear so they may cool off in the water fountains. Bring a camera if you can - there are lots of things to take pictures off. A good pair of walking shoes and plenty of drinking water recommended.

Best Way To Get Around:

Around town, a car is a must, but at the zoo, a good pair of walking shoes is the best you can do.
Mayan Pyramid
One of the best things at the West Palm Beach Dreher Park Zoo is the Mayan exhibit. It makes you feel like you are back in time living amongst the Mayans in the middle of the jungle. You can learn about their way of life and how they lived it. Complete with architecture you can see and touch. Simply breathtaking! A great place to sit, relax, and enjoy the view after a day of walking.
